The WACOMP programme will roll out at a regional and national level in the 15 ECOWAS Member States as well as Mauritania. ITC will introduce technological tools to improve regional data information, harness trade market intelligence and provide trade solutions.

It will expand the service delivery mechanisms of TISIs and support the formation of a regional network for TIPOs to harness knowledge. Finally, it will support the establishment of the ECOWAS Business Council to supplement the policymaking processes with views from the private sector. ITC’s involvement in the WACOMP programme will help foster intra-regional trade by strengthening value chains and striving for a conducive business environment.
